Topic > Baby Dumping in Malaysia - 1776

I am proud to be Malaysian, but what has happened to our society recently makes me think. Our country Malaysia has become a very popular and favorite place for dumping, not the usual garbage dumping we all can think of, but it is baby dumping. Child dumping is the act of an irresponsible person throwing away innocent children anywhere without taking care of the child. Child dumping is a chronic social crisis in our country as many cases occur in Malaysian society and are increasing day by day. The community, especially the youth, have become ruthless and violent. Because these mothers among young people, especially today, are willing to dump their children. Don't they have even a little feeling for their children? Based on statistics from the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters, it was discovered that a total of 580 innocent children were found abandoned in the garbage, toilet and toilet bag between the years 2000-2006. This number of child dumping cases has increased every year; from 65 cases of child dumping increased to 83 cases in 2006. In the first five months, almost every day there are reports of cases of abandoned children. The year 2010 is also known as the year of child dumping cases and this has brought many questions and problems. Sure we all have heard of fruit season and others, but have you ever heard of child abandonment season? Nowadays, New Year and Valentine's Day celebrations are known as the mating season, which leads to unwanted pregnancies among young people and, of course, leads to cases of child abandonment which can easily be read by the mass media. Besides that, we can also see many news today in newspapers are so terrifying like "Body of child found in garbage bin", "Dogs found child in garbage bag" and many more. When children were abandoned, fortunately... middle of paper... I did not allow child abandonment cases in Malaysia to become more serious. We should take some measures to minimize the number of abandoned children in society. The preventive measure must be taken now. Please don't wait any longer to deal with these cases. Innocent children need us. Parties such as parents, community, schools and mass media must take responsibility to minimize cases of child abandonment from now on. Let's hope we don't see any more abandoned children in the future. Teenagers should also keep their distance from crimes. They must learn to be responsible for what they have done and try to think maturely about consequences, such as the advantages and disadvantages of things. They must be able to distinguish bad things from good things. Child dumping should be eliminated from now on and leave a peaceful and caring society to live in.
