In most of the articles I found that my opinion on leisure was similar in almost every sense of the word when compared. For example, A.J.Veal argued that free time, therefore, is a block of unoccupied time, free time, or free time in which we are free to rest or do what we choose. Free time is time that goes beyond what is required for existence, the things we must do, biologically, to stay alive (i.e. eat, sleep, eliminate, heal ourselves, and so on): and subsistence, the things we have to do to make a living like in work, or prepare to make a living like in school, or pay for what we want done if we don't do it ourselves. Free time is time when our feelings of constraint should be minimal. It is discretionary time, time to be used according to our judgment or choice. As Veal said, “free time is leisure.” Feeling that time with enjoyable activities is what separates individuals. For me, a normal recreational activity would be going to the gym or playing a board game with my family after a long stressful day. Both of these activities give me the opportunity to escape the daily hustle and bustle, and that's it
