The changes entailed from the traditional workplace to more technological ways. With the existence of various types of software that enable long-distance communication, the telecommuting workforce has evolved. Nowadays, the organization has been transformed to become a network-based operational structure where employees are not tied to the workplace. Every day, the level of work of teleworkers continues to grow. Telecommuting allows employees to work from home or remote locations around the world. The question is: what is the different support service provided by the organization to teleworkers and traditionally regular office employees. The objectives of this study are to explain the many types of support services that can be provided for telecommuting employees and the different support services needed for telecommuters and desktop computers. The goal of this article is to provide a framework to help IT managers solve problems by increasing the potential benefit of providing good support service. In the previous study, the authors stated that there are various studies on telecommuting that include references to corporate attitudes toward telecommuting, motivation, productivity, supervision, and employee satisfaction. There are two phases of the method used in this study. First, academic researchers and journalists were used to present the key issues and challenges related to supporting teleworkers.
