It is believed that the expectation a man has of a woman when she is married is: "... a wife who will keep my house clean.. . will take over after my children... a wife who will take my place." (Judy 419). Women's role as a wife is seen as one who has to take care of men's needs, but if men change roles, they are considered lazy by society.
