Students will also learn the daily amount of servings to consume for a healthy diet. Language Standards: Students will orally discuss the six food groups within their groups and what types of foods fall into each category or food group. Students will demonstrate by discussing the amount of servings a person should consume from each food group on a typical day. Lesson topic: categories of the six food groups and what types of food would belong to a particular food group, as well as the amount of servings a person should aim for in a day. Content Objectives: Students will be able to identify the six food groups and name five foods that would be classified into each food group.
