Topic > The Criminal Justice System by Jonbenét Ramsey - 732

I believe the problem here is with the justice system itself and not with the direct actions of the prosecutor or police involved. Honestly, the fault is not so easy to pinpoint. If there is anyone to blame, it would be the people who tampered with the crime scene and the potential failure/inability of the police to preserve the scene if they could. After reading this story, I definitely believe that it is possible why terrible crimes like this can occur without justice being found. There is no way to guarantee that all crime scenes will ever be contaminated and sometimes problems with the crime scene render the evidence there unusable, which will greatly hinder the case, just like in this case with Jonbenét Ramsey. I don't think this means selling out the rights of the victim because as human beings we can only do so much
