TECHNOLOGY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING: We live in the 21st century, which is the world of science and technology. The technology is used all over the world and in almost every institution where people can get the information very quickly and bring the whole world in front of them with just one click. In fact it is a boon for people who use it wisely. It is very useful for teaching and learning four skills such as learning, speaking, reading and writing. By using this technology, students can learn well. The use of computers has rapidly changed the world. The teaching style in the classroom will change and students will be curious to know more about what teachers teach. Multimedia can be used where necessary. It has its value and there are many benefits. Teachers can use them effectively and can bring about a sea change among students. Technological aids have changed educational strategies and teaching styles. Video, audio, multimedia content, Internet etc. have changed the lives of 21st century students. It is easy to use technology guides instead of teaching them manually, which students find boring and will get distracted easily. Teachers also have to work hard to make it effective. But technological aids will help teachers to be lively and will keep the teacher energetic and make teaching effective. The teacher will be active throughout the session without getting tired.
