My short-term goal, to be completed this year, is to finish my first year of school with good grades and no debt. This will help me achieve success by giving me a sense of responsibility and independence. If and when I complete this year debt-free with good grades, I will have done it myself. I motivate myself and am helping my mother by earning scholarships and not having school pay for me. My second goal is my long term goal. As of now, my goal is to transfer to Sam Houston State University and major in teaching. Then, shortly after, I hope to teach young children in an elementary school. I know there will be times of struggle, but I am determined to achieve all my goals
