E-cigarettes have been a huge success lately in the US market. E-cigarettes technically don't produce smoke, but they do produce vapor and aren't much different from regular cigarettes. Even though e-cigarettes can be considered safer than regular cigarettes, they still contain nicotine and other chemicals that are harmful to the human body. E-cigarettes may be a positive measure opposite to tobacco products, but in the long term they are no different from regular cigarettes and could lead to negative outcomes. Therefore, e-cigarettes should be limited, regulated and treated like “normal cigarettes”. The electronic cigarette is also known as “vaping” and vaporizes a liquid solution containing nicotine through heat powered by a battery held in a mouthpiece of the device. Young adults believe it is safer than a regular tobacco product due to less harmful chemicals, but it has not been thoroughly tested for safety.
